It's in the tracks. It seems that more and more tank models want you to add multiple parts to each track link nowadays. It only adds money to the metal tank track aftermarket guys pockets

Ummm, you might want to check out the Meng Merkava and M1A2 kits.

I personally am really happy about the new tracks Trumpeter is packing in their newer models! Yes.. they may be a bit tedious to build but they are workable and with seperate endcaps like the real thing so there is no need to swap them anymore! (At least for me) cheers Chris

In the earlier version of the T-90MS from Trumpeter, it is only track link plus guide horn to build the set track but in the corresponding Tiger Model version, it is track link plus guide horn plus two end connectors to connect the tracks. Both companies give you a track assembly jig.

Thanks Tony. Yes, I saw that when I was preparing the news, and announcements from other sites as well. Curious as to why the change. Anyways I just settled to use what they name it now. Cheers, Tat

Its no bigger than a Pz II, but having to put together 400 parts just for the tracks, sure kept me busy for a while longer.

Sounds like tedious fun. So a modern tank kit could have, say 400 pieces legitimately and all the rest is in the tracks? Nuts. Still, probably better as a finished product compared to the alternatives.

what's the different between T-90s mod 2013 and t-90MS?

I've been searching the internet trying to find an answer to this same question! Does anyone know?
