Now available for the first time ever in 1/35 scale for armor and diorama modelers, the D-Day Waco CG-4A glider (also known as the Hadrian glider in the UK) can be purchased from Masterpiece Models.
It's taken many years to bring this complex and massive resin model to market. Wingspan is almost 70cm.
The model is made of cast resin and brass depicting a fully-detailed interior welded steel framework and cockpit with realistic stretched fabric "skin." Thanks to the inclusion of a detailed interior, this model can be built whole or crashed/partially destroyed for WWII-era D-Day dioramas.

High quality, pressure-cast resin parts are molded from 3D-printed masters.
Based on detailed photos, measurements, and access to the original
manufacturer's assembly manuals for a real WWII D-Day glider.

Bronco has brought out the British Horsa and the German DFS-230 gliders. Both in plastic, and in 1/35th scale. Wouldn't be surprised if they unveiled a Waco eventually. I'll wait and hope. Al

In either case, no matter who makes these great 1/35 aircraft kits, I'm afraid space limits a purchase...and regretfully will have to pass this up.
