Overall you've managed a rather nice job, the slightly orange tinge isn't so much of a problem as to what is surrounding it which painting again would only prove a problem. If, and I do say if you want, you could alway try a black wash, you'll find MIG do a 1st class range, earth and even rainmarks, and as I said black.
The rigging looks great.
Thank you for sharing, although I would have like to have seen more close up shots. Still, can't have everything eh.

I've still a ways to go to getting the kind of deck finish I'd like , but it's all part of the fun

The Caenis rigging definitely is the way to go, but the plastic kit masts need to be replaced with brass rod first otherwise the tension in the caenis will end up bending the plastic kit parts over.

More close up pics for the next build for sure as it's a 1/350 u-boat...
