I must commend snuggles on the fine work. When my four leg helpers visit my bench it normally means I have to find things and fix them. I need to get some pointers on training cats from you....
Looks great and moving along nicley. Maybe you will motivate me to start a build log and post a few pics.. minus the feline rulers of the house...unless they wish to be photographed

An axiom in my house: If I need a different viewpoint on most anything, ask the cat.
Nice doors.
I have to say, I'm looking forward to turret time, just to see how much white plastic finds it's way into that.
One more: My mind became numb last night while assembling AFV Club's T-142 tracks for a Magach, but reading this latest installment in one of the more fascinating blogs in internet-dom has motivated me to get them painted, something almost as tedious as assembly. No idea why.....

I got it. I can look at each and every one of my shelf queens and tell anyone, to this day, why I stopped building (or painting) on it. It's a split as to whether or not I got bored, or freaked out and quit because I had either too much info and not the right bits or not enough info and didn't want to make a "mistake". Eeek! That's when it's time to build a "what-if" from Mars and paint it pink.

Self queens... I have a few skeletons on the shelf but not many. Of course I am an out of the box guy so my only reason to stop a build, but it has stopped builds... and you hit on it Russel.. the fear of screwing it up. Not sure why it bothers me so, but it slows my work to a crawl all the time and has stopped a few times... and another shelf queen is born. And another tank sits patiently waiting on me to screw up enough courage to move it along the finishing stage... Such is life I guess.. now.. back to the grizzly so you can finish it and get to that E8

"Shelf Queens, It's kinda funny, Deckard and Rachael are just about to explain exactly what I did with all my shelf queens, the build log is getting spooky, it's almost as if everything was,..planned,..in advance, lol"

.. well just make sure no one is around to hear you ramble about "all part of my evil master plan" It tends to make those around your nervous.

Snuggles should be recruiting Mr Black and White for the common defense of the bench, he is after all facing 6 divisions of bogie units... that is a tall task to defeat.

Still looking good, though I must say.. PLEASE do not put the gun in the travel lock.. it makes the sherman look so sad when they are pointed down like that. Not the look of a proud warrior that they all have at heart.

In regards to the different top lips of the final drive housing parts, I've had a brain (insert auto-censored word here): Interchangeable parts from different foundries.
In regards to the bogies, I'll use a word taught me by a gentleman who hangs out on another forum, also from your side of the pond: "gobsmacked", I am.

Ill take a peek in my copy of "Son of Sherman" tonight, but it sure looks like a splash shield. Curious place for it, though.

That strip, is as you say, pretty common - I'm 99% certain it's a bullet splash strip.

Nooooooooooooo................

Don't give up.

BTW: Have I ever said how entertaining this blog is (and the Grizzly's pretty neat, too!)? No? Well, I've enjoyed every moment with Rachel, Decker and Snuggles, and that Karkov guy... How the heck does he keep his styrene so freakin' white?!

If you give up now, you'll just leave the rest of us guessing and wondering. Too cruel...

Don't worry he is British, they never give up,
"We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans"

Need I say more, stiff upper lip chap and bully your way through. We all simply must know if snuggles defeats the bogie divisions or if the slightly unsettled Brit who loves Sherman's and building things that do not really need to be built finishes. Or if the gizzly claims another and he slips screaming for a blue knife over the edge and the nice men with the tight fitting white jacket come escort him away.

Being a military man I do think it is time to resort to the BFH to fix your computer issues. It works every time but the BFH must be used just right to still use the same computer. Good luck.
