Dear All,
Since my previous, 15 page long IDF thread - thanks to Photobucket - is now defunct, I'm opening a new one using Imgur as the picture host. In order to keep the thread a little bit more user friendly, I'll number all pictures. Please refer to this number in the top-left corner while adding info/asking question/commenting on specific pictures. If you add a picture yourself, please number it according to the sequence. Thanks in advance!
I'll start with the backbone of IDF Armored Corps in the 50's-60's, the M50.

Nice post Israel!

Interesting bit of trivia: many early VVSS M50's on their left sponson just aft of the turret carry a fixture that was originally meant for M4 105mm and M4A3 105mm Shermans to carry the gun cleaning rods (for example photo no.8 and 11 of your thread). Mostly M4A1 model based M50's have it, but other types sometimes cary that too. I have no idea why, with IDF tanks these are always empty so it must have been added by the previous owners...

Cheers,
Greg

Great to see you have things sorted out on your end about photo issues. I need to sign-up for Imgur as many are having good results with it. BTW, great idea of numbering each pic. It will keep things organize and simple. I sure do like #29. Beautiful lady and that's my big #.

Well, keep up the good work brother and like many I'm following along.

Really digging # 71-72 as they are perfect for a diorama. Another interesting one would be #93 as it will make folks scratching their heads at a show.

You wouldn't happen to know the background history of #71-72 would you?
