Excellent result from such an old kit Ezra. I remember making this when it first came out about 1975!

Wow I didn't know it was that old, everything was crisply molded and detailed! I pretty much built it OOB.

Another golden oldie very nicely done! The weathering & chipping really looks like what you'd expect to see on equipment used in North Africa. Thanks for posting your fine work!

Hope you win, this deserves to with superb weathering like that & you can guess what’s coming next – it’s screaming out for a diorama to live in

I love the finish, you did and excellent job ! There's still much debate about how much chipping is realistic, but as I said I love the finish. And you're only 14 ???!! My skills were no where near yours when I was 14 lol, no way. You should do awesome in any competition. Can't wait to see the model in a diorama ! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for all the compliments! I know all about those chipping debates, and my personal thing is that its your model and its really up to personal preference. I like my models dirty but not so much its not realistic.

I agree 100%, I do weather my models rather heavily most of the time, as long as your happy with it. Again, excellent job!

I think the future of the hobby is in safe hands Ezra, an excellent rendition on a vintage kit. Look forward to seeing your diorama if it's going to be finished to the same high standard.

As an AMPS and IPMS judge, and from my perspective seeing your build just in pictures, I would venture to say that your piece, at a minimum, would place.
